About Keepermax
Keepermax is a goalkeeping training developmental academy that offers safe, fun and year around functional goalkeeping training programs.
Our programs include our own Keepermax online community where we cultivate the art of goalkeeping to our students through digital educational content and own line of trending and affordably priced goalkeeper gear.
We provide the proper goalkeeper learning environment to gain the skills and knowledge necessary to excel in today's modern game.
Our goalkeeper training curriculum is deployed through group sessions and digital educational content. We help parents, coaches and clubs by creating a pathway that builds confidence, sportsmanship, sporting spirit, ambition and by teaching the Keepermax 3 key Pilars in training efficiency which are; sporting performance, training methodologies and match methodologies for every goalkeeper in our program.
We create the TOP FLIGHT modern day functional goalkeeping experience for youth, collegiate and professional goalkeepers in the EAST COAST.
Meet our Coaches
Javier Decima
Academy Director
Decima has been an Assistant/Goalkeeper coach at Fairfield University for the past 6 years. From 2010 to 2012, he worked with Michael O’Keeffe, who was selected for the New Zealand team that participated in the 2012 Summer Olympics in London, playing against the likes of Neymar, Hulk, and Marcelo of Brazil.
Decima is currently the Director of Goalkeeper Training at Beachside of Connecticut (United States Soccer Development Academy).
Andres Gomez
Academy Director of Coaching
Gomez professional playing career spanned three professional clubs in all 3 US Soccer Profesional league divisions, USL Pro Select Westchester Flames, USL First Division Puerto Rico Islanders and MLS, NY/NJ MetroStars.
Gomez is a current member of the US SOCCER COACHES ASSOCIATION OF AMERICA and is a USSF National “B” Licensed Coach which he earned in Thousand Oaks, California.
Susie Star
Academy Goalkeeper Coach
At Fairfield High School, she was an All-American as a goalkeeper and was selected to represent the region at the youth level. After high school, Susie was recruited to play as a goalkeeper at Yale University. After graduating, she worked as the Graduate Assistant for Fairfield University’s women’s soccer team while completing her MBA. Susie runs Keepermax programs through out Southern, CT and is the Marketing arm for Keepermax goalie wars tournament.
Joe Martin
Academy Goalkeeper Coach
Joe’s career started in England with Leeds United’s youth academy. He joined Barnsley FC for 3 years before joining the Nike Academy. He then made the move to Fairfield University where he played for 4 years. Through his career he has worked with players such as Danish international Goalkeeper, Kasper Schmeichel and England and Manchester City defender John Stones.
